How the library has helped you out? What keeps you coming back to the library?

Our library knows my kids by name. The children’s librarian makes it a point to say hello to each of the kids, and often helps them find the books that they love! While we were homeschooling last school year, we were able to check out several educational games, and other resources. We had a running list of quality books on the hold shelf, and the staff put together several book bundles related to varying subjects. They have been an invaluable resource and friend to our family!

I’m 52 years old. My story starts almost 11 years age. I had brain surgery, took me many years to feel comfortable enough to try my library out. I have memory loss. I started out with getting my card, I was so excited. I started checking out audio books, cause I could not read chapter to chapter. I love reading. So I listen and understand them.

My next step in my recovery, I needed to go look for a book called “sail” by James Paterson. They told me what side it was on and how far back, BINGO I found it. YAY! I want to thank all the wonderful helpers and Library Staff at my Library.

Thank you for never looking down at any one with a disability. That’s why I love my library.
